Registration and onboarding<\/span><\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][toggles style=”minimal”][toggle color=”Default” title=”How can I join Tester Work?”][vc_column_text]You can register by going to this page.<\/a> From there simply follow these steps to become a tester on our platform:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Fill in your personal details, testing experience and the device(s) you can use to test.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Take an online assessment which will help us assess your QA skills and English proficiency (you have two attempts to pass the test).<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” title=”What does the onboarding process look like?”][vc_column_text]Our onboarding\u00a0process is split into 2 parts:\u00a0registration<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0online assessment<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. The\u00a0registration<\/strong>\u00a0has three steps which you will follow right after you have signed up: account settings (personal details), testing settings (experience, availability, language) and the hardware & software you can use to test.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Online assessment<\/strong>:\u00a0this will test your knowledge and understanding of QA testing as well as your quality of written English.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assessment advice:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Before you start answering questions, you will be presented with the notions page. We advise you read the page thoroughly since this will help you answer the assessment questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have passed the first assessment, you will become one of our verified testers and your details will be added to our database. If you have failed the first assessment, you will be given another chance to complete a follow-up assessment.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” title=”How long does it take to complete the onboarding?”][vc_column_text]Onboarding takes most testers about thirty minutes to complete.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t want to complete all the onboarding steps at once, you can save your progress and come back to it when you\u2019re ready.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” title=”What happens if I fail the assessment?”][vc_column_text]If you have failed the first assessment, you will be given another chance to complete a follow-up assessment.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you failed the test twice then you will not be invited to our regular test cycles.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” title=”What happens after I pass the assessment?”][vc_column_text]We will email you whenever a new project is available for you \u2013 we start new test cycles every day. We send invitations based on the devices you have and the information included in your profile. <\/span><\/p>\n

Be sure to put as much information in your profile so we can match you with the projects that will suit you best!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” title=”When can I start testing?”][vc_column_text]You can start testing as soon as you have received an email about a new project that matches your profile. Simply accept the invite and you will receive more details.<\/span><\/p>\n

From then on, you should receive emails about our new testing projects, so it is important to keep an eye on your inbox. Not at all. All projects have a fixed start and end date and you are free to work any time during the period allocated to the test (usually 48 hours).
